But you got to agree that the windows bar is indeed a invention by a genius. Same as the dock.

For years, there has been ways to turn a windows into a Mac interface, but no vice versa.

Now, there is. It’s called uBar, and heck, it is awesome. You need to use it to believe it. Well, unless you are a rabid Mac Fanboy. Then you will protest having Windows in your Mac.

Anyway, it can really help you keep track of your windows (application windows, not the OS). If you have 15 apps open like I do at any time, it will help out a lot.

It isn’t a exact replica of windows. Look at the windows bar:

It isn’t the steady quick access menu we came to expect from windows.

There is a solution, though. It is called Quicksilver. If you never heard of it before and you use a Mac, I don’t know what to say.

It costs USD$15, but it is as good as donating. I use the free version, and the only thing I am missing out are updates and occasional ads.

So, give it a try out!

However, Flickroom, an Adobe AIR app which offers almost the same features as leading photo-sharing site Flickr provides a much richer browsing experience to make your photographs look better than ever before.

It’s a desktop-based application that comes with a dark theme accompanied with several cool features such as the ability to upload multiple photographs from your desktop using a drag-and-drop interface and tweet about them directly from the application. Users can easily edit the title and description. Additionally, adding new tags and images to a group or a set is also possible.

There are a number of impressive features Flickroom offers. For example, there’s a built-in chatroom which allows you to interact and communicate with other Flickroom users who are online at that moment. As a result, this creates a real-time collaboration that even the original Flickr website doesn’t provide.

What’s more is that you’re able to search photographs of all Flickr users. You can also see  your photos in Flickr Explore. All these in one place without any much hassle.

Flickroom is indeed a unique and impressive creation that most Flickr users have long deserved. Actually, it provides basic features such as posting comments, marking favorites, adding notes, editing the title and descriptions of your photos just like other Flickr ‘clones’. However, the striking point of Flickroom is that it’s powered by Adobe AIR. As a result, its user-interface is awesome especially the drag-and-drop interface, dark background which helps to make photographs look more attractive and a more seamless and intuitive login experience.

It’s currently in beta and you can install this app at no cost.

1. Resident Evil 5

This is one major franchise that was reborn with its latest offering Resident Evil 5. After the success of Resident Evil 5, our expectations for Resident Evil 5 have risen. RE 5 has all those things which were missed in RE4 Co-op gameplay and some new features.

2. God Of War 3

The God of War is ready and is looking better than ever before. God of War 3 is the fourth game in the series and the first one to be presented in full HD. The game will follow Kratos as he wages a massive war against others gods. And, as seen in the previous games, we don’t expect anything/anyone to survive. The PS3′s secret weapon will be the last game in the series (such is the rumor), so we guess Kratos plans to go down with a bang. There is very little info about the game, but we do know that its going to make other action adventure games weep like three-year-olds.

3. Ninja Blade

Ninja Gaiden the series may be dead but there is a new Ninja ready to claim the mantle. The latest ninja adventure is called Ninja Blade and promises to deliver the most cinematic adventure yet. The demo showcased some cool moves and was fairly impressive. However, we await the full game, which looks promising.

4. Godfather 2

Most movie buffs find The Godfather II better than the first part; I am one of them. I’m sure EA will hope for a similar trend for their latest game in the Godfather series, simply titled The Godfather 2. The game is mix of action and strategy, giving gamers absolute control of his men, while acting like a real mafia don. The new concept called Don’s Eye View will enable gamers to keep a track of the city and its activities and then take appropriate action. Sounds cool? Let’s wait for the full game and see it in action.

5. Prototype

This is yet another sandbox game that revolves around superpowers but the game’s lead character Alex isn’t a hero. In fact he is a shape-shifting, memory-stealing mutant! Alex can consume the physical features and memories of his victims, he can pick up and throw cars with ease, as well as jump really high. These superhuman abilities look really cool in the gameplay videos, how well the developers have incorporated them in gameplay is something we have to wait and see.

Note: Few of these games have released, but these were among the list of most awaited games of 2009.

Vizerra is the first world’s first 3D educational portal which enable its users to travel to different historic locations Old Town Square, Macchu Picchu and Angkor Vat directly from your computer. This software is useful for those lazy guys and girls who are curious but do not want to spend their money on traveling to particular destination. Besides offering high quality 3D copies of these sites, it also provides audio guides with detailed description made by reputable publishers and museums. Each model comes with a comprehensive description (just like Wikipedia) that provides users more information such as the history, culture and many more.

According to Vizerra, they have launched many locations and they have focused on launching 3 different locations per month and about 30 locations by the end of 2009.
