Twitter releases Vine for Kindle Fire HD

Vine for Kindle Fire HD is now here. You can now shoot 6 seconds animated videos with your Kindle Fire HD's front facing camera and share them with others.

Twitter’s Vine is definitely a hit. With Vine you can shoot 6 second short videos that loop continuously. It was available only on iOS earlier. But the Android version made it’s way last month. And now, here is Vine for Kindle Fire HD from Twitter. It comes with the version tag 1.2.0.

Vine for Kindle Fire HD is available as a free download on the Amazon Appstore for Android. If you are a Kindle Fire HD user or Kindle Fire HD lover you would have noticed that there is no back camera in the tablet. Kindle Fire HD has only a front camera.

Vine for Kindle Fire HD makes use of your front camera to shoot 6 second videos. You can shoot 6 second videos of you now. That’s called #selfies by the Vine community.

This new app lands on the Amazon Appstore for Android shortly after Facebook launched videos on Instagram. Vine and Instagram are having a tough competition now. With Vine on Amazon Appstore now, Instagram should try to place catch up with Vine soon. It should bring it’s app to Amazon Appstore soon to fight back.

The new Vine for Kindle Fire HD also comes with a new upload manager to manage your unsubmitted posts and also  perfoms better and faster. These updates are found in Vine for Android too.
