How to switch back to Facebook from Facebook Lite?
I recently came across a post on Devils Workshop on Facebook Lite. As I went through the comments I found out alot of readers are facing problems of auto- login to lite version instead of original facebook version.
It took me a while to get to the root of the problem, as I am not facing this problem and also none of the friends around me. 
Here are a few possible solutions that may help:
- Change the URL from http://lite.facebook.com/ to http://www.facebook.com/
- Click on settings tab, select “Friendships” option. You will get a page as the one shown below.
Click on “main site“, that will redirect you to the older version.
- On most of the occasions facebook lite is supported only in English, so a change in the language may do the trick. To change the language click on settings tabs and this time select the “Language” option. This will show you a page to select a language. Select a new language. I would suggest English (Pirate)
and click on “Set Language”. Voila, we are back to good old facebook. Go to settings again and switch back to previous language. 
If you face problem finding language settings in non-English language, go to this link http://www.facebook.com/editaccount.php?language - Another way is to flush the DNS cache of your system.
o To flush DNS cache in Microsoft Windows (Win XP, Win ME, Win 2000):-
- Open Command prompt (Click on Start -> Run -> type cmd)
- Type “ipconfig /flushdns” and hit enter key.
- Type “ipconfig /registerdns” to register back dns.
o To flush the DNS cache in Linux, restart the nscd daemon:-
- Open terminal, type “/etc/rc.d/init.d/nscd restart”, hit enter key.
o To flush the DNS cache in Mac OS X Leopard:-
- Open terminal, type “lookupd –flushcache”
ex: bash-2.05a$ lookupd -flushcache
o To flush the DNS cache in Mac OS X:-
- Type “dscacheutil -flushcache” in your terminal to flush the DNS resolver cache.
ex: bash-2.05a$ dscacheutil -flushcache
I hope these solutions helps you out and get you back to Facebook 
hello…i tried language change trick…unable to open my account completely now…its not working….neither fb lite nor old fb….shucks!!!
i used english pirate as u suggested
1. Did not work
2. No Friendship link when i go to Settings
3. Did it and the new page can’t load at all… the connection bar is showing – Waiting for ‘www.facebook.com’ and ‘lite.facebook.com’ alternately repeatedly
4. Flushed my Windows XP but does not work. Same problem (3)
5. HELP!!! Now i cant login at all whether lite or normal.

have you registered back dns. have mentioned a command above to do so:-|
flushing and registering dns took me back to facebook.

try this:
Replace http://lite.facebook.com/ with http://apps.facebook.com/
I have tried all the options that you given. It hasn’t helped me.

i can access farmville. but , i also need to access the home page. when i click on the home tab it takes me to the lite version of fb. is there any way to go back to the classic version Home page.

This is not a sure shot solution but has helped a few people get to their Facebook Applications.

here is a solution to go back to default facebook.
On your face book lite page ..click on ‘Feedback’ at the bottom of the page. Just above the comment box, there is an option to move back to regular facebook

i tried all of the above methods u have sugested but to no wail.
i login by normal FB but my Id opens on FB Lite.
i tried deleting cookies and clearing temporary internet files as well.

Everyone, here is a solution to go back to default facebook.
On your face book lite page click on ‘Feedback’ at the bottom of the page. Just above the comment bos there is an option to move back to regular facebook

hey I tried everything possible and I found out a way to go back to the main facebook look …. click on settings of facebook lite and you get an option which says “default site” click on that and you are ready for your old or new facebook regular or lite infact you can also do to and from to both the kind of looks .. i hope it works for you guys .. it did for me
