Orkut Album Hack : View Photos From Locked Orkut Album!

Next time you see a profile with locked album do not get annoyed! Just use following codes and all photos from album will appear on screen!

Steps to use above code:
- Go to the profile with locked album.
- Paste above code in address bar/navigation bar.
- HIT Enter key and all photos from locked album will appear on screen!
IMPORTANT: (Added on Jan 3, 2008)
Code in above box are lengthy. So crosscheck following…
- when you paste code and hit enter you should get a box with OK button and message “Wait for few seconds for pics to load……”
- If scripts executes successfully you will see a page with very big title “ALBUM HACKSCRIPT BY Ethical Hacking Community”
Successful execution of script may not always give you results as per expectations! So…
Few Notes: (Added on Jan 3, 2008)
- Script may not work on few profile. The problem faced by Amit was this only. He encountered one such exception profile. Try on other profiles before reporting problem here.
- Script may not show all pics. Worst you will get to see only one pic.
- Script can not fetch full pics but large thumbnails only you can see.
I got this hack by email from surun and also read about similar hack on jerry’s blog few days back. I wanted to post about it but orkut rectified it quickly!

i tried it many times on different profiles with Locked albums but its not working.
the page only have a big font wit that text

You are on right track. You may need to wait longer (2-3 mins at the most) if you are using very slow internet connection!
Also as Jean figured out above this will not work in Internet Explorer! So use firefox..

Now I just tested locked album hack and its working. I dont think scrapbook hack still works but you can definitely check locked album by using above code in firefox. DO NOT USE INTERNET EXPLORER!

Don’t put the rubbish content …. none of the trick given on this site for viewing locked album/scrapbook is correct and working so guys don’t west your time in trying that. Devils get mature and put some stuff which will work.. if you can..

Thanks for your effort.
But I am sorry to say that the java script doesnt work even in firefox.
When on some ones profile i put the java script FIRE FOX goes on NON RESPONDING MODE.
I dont think there is any problem with the firefox software as i have recently downloaded & installed the software.

Firefox actually works.
After freezing for 3-5 mins. in non responding mode album is displayed but it comes in thumbnails view.
How can I see the full screen photos?

hii….this trick is working. i have tried. but can anyone please tell me how to view those pics in full size. coz only small sizes pictures r visible.there is no option of ‘view full size’.

If you ever noticed full pictures have long, randomly generated names. So its hard to figure them out!
By the way thumbnails r better than nothing!

Sorry dude but that profile is lucky I guess!
You may try on other profiles. On different profiles you get different no. of pics.
At least you got 5, some people got zero!

But instead of more brainstorming I recommend you to use newer version of this hack which automatically breaks all locked album! [link to new hack]

Thanks for nice finding. Your point is unarguably correct – if locked album is empty no pics will be shown.
BUT I have noticed that this as well as new script try to fetch image thumbnails using orkut membership number(Note: membership no. is different than uid in profile URLs)
Once script gets membership no. it creates URL pointing to thumbnail directory on one of orkuts image server at http://img3.orkut.com/images/milieu/
Now if thumnails are located in other directory or other server then Script have to fail for these thumbnails.
Anyway thanks again for sharing your point. It helped a lot here.

also with my little knowledge . i tried to view source and couldnt see any reference to jpg file..
i wonder how this worked for some one else. or this bug is fixed now by gugle team
