Short of a few negative reviews, it's been warmly received, and it actually seems to work, which is refreshing for a mobile that tries to integrate the internet as a major feature. Maybe it's because it's actually been developed as an android platform, rather than adding ie onto an ordinary phone. As for the netbook and Chrome aspect, I think that maybe it's a little old hat thinking with the netbook, they need to get something like the iSlate developed, as Google have caught a whole new net of fish with the Nexus One getting them into hardware. It would be a proper scuffle between Google and Apple if they both brought out similar devices, and let's face it, Google might as well own the internet. Although I adore Apple products, it's about time they had soem class competition, and I think Google could provide that. If they pull their fingers out that is. As of now it is their first phone and there are no plans to release multiple handsets by GOOG so I think there are very few chances of failure.
