Facebook finally added a much awaited feature which is very useful for Facebook Page Owners. This feature was missing from Facebook pages from a very long time and that’s why we suggested you to keep your Facebook Pages with a single Admin only.
Different types of Admin Roles:
Facebook now added five different types of admin roles i.e. Manager, Content Creator, Moderator, Advertiser and Insight Analyst. The manager is same as the owner or admin of page having all the privileges and highest degree of permissions for that page. Content creator is the same as a Manager but he can’t add or remove any other member as admin. Moderator can comment or delete comments but cannot create a new post. Advertiser can create an ad and view page insights and the Insight Analyst can just see the page insights. Check out the table below for more clarification.
How to Change Admin Roles:
To add an admin or change the role of an existing admin click on “Edit Page” on the top of page and then select “Admin Roles” from the drop down list. Then either add the name of new admin or select their Role from the drop down list given with their names and click “Save”. Check the screenshot below:

How does the Facebook manager set up a password for a “content creator’?
If the only difference between the two is their email address, what prevents the “content creator’ from taking over the manager position>

Only manager can upgrade a content creator to a new manager.
I was hoping someone could help me – I currently had a facebook page created for a new business and the developer made me an admin – I would like to now remove him and add another admin but I do not have the password and the developer is overseas and I cannot contact him.
How can I reset the password and remove him from my page?

I am the original Administrator Or Page Manager for our Face book page. I want to change Admin roles, Delete Managers and also Add new Content Creators. Every time I try, it tells me to enter password from my personal acct. So I do and then it says Wrong Password??? Can anyone help with this. Apparently I cant call Facebook?
Hi Mike, I can’t help, but I’m having the same problem. I’m having the same problem. Did you ever figure out the problem or how to resolve it? I’m trying to add one and enter their name, then click Save, and the standard popup message appears “enter your personal password…”, I enter it, and I get a message saying it’s incorrect. I’ve tried it several times. I’ve logged out and back in and my personal password works fine to do that, only have the issue when I try to enter it for saving a new admin. Grrr. I’ve tried on Safari and Chrome, and I tried clearing my browser cache and history also, nothing has worked. Did anyone else figure out how to resolve this?
