Ten Fastest Growing Job and Career-Related Websites in the US

clip_image002Over the Internet, job and career-related resources continue to be one of the fastest-growing categories. It is not surprising considering the current slowdown in the economy and the number of people looking out for jobs and career advice. June’s comScore Media Metrix reveal that there has been a 10 % increase in the number of Americans visiting career and job related sites as compared to last year. More than 65 million people in the US visited this category and 7 of the top 10 websites in the category got double-digit gains.

Here are the highlights from the report:

  1. Topping the list in this category is CareerBuilder LLC with 21.7 million unique visitors
  2. At the second spot is Yahoo HotJobs with 17.9 million visitors, which is 23 % increase as compared to last year.
  3. Monster.com ranks at number 3 with 14.5 million visitors, an increase of 6 %.
  4. Indeed at number 4 saw a growth of 59 % to 8 million visitors
  5. Job.com Sites ranks at number 5 with a growth increase of 46 % to 7.4 million visitors.
