This certainly means good news for the social networking site- Facebook as it hits another milestone with 250 millions users as of today! That makes it an impressive number, especially when the last 50 million users joined in since April.
According to their blog post:

Facebook hopes to continue improving itself further and serve as many people in the world in the most effective way possible.
