Today there are two good announcements for all the bloggers. First, WordPress 3.0 is launched and Second, Google pagerank is updated. We were expecting Google pagerank to be updated in 1 April and today finally it is announced. As far as I came to know, many bloggers are happy with the updated pagerank.
Google pagerank matters for all the bloggers but there are minority of bloggers who thinks it is not worth. Whatever others might think but I find Google page rank worth of all the blogs. For me, the first impression about any blog is via its design and value of blog by its page Rank.
For Devils’ Workshop we had a good week with increase in traffic and we also maintained the Google pagerank with PR4. Overall, this time we really did satisfactory work with launch of new services (i.e. Blogger to WP and Providing domains at low cost), traffic increment and good Google pagerank.

My PR was lost from 3 to 0 on last Jan 1 without any reason, and my secondary blog called labofskins.blogspot.com, which had PE 0 got PR 3. This time, my blog got PR 2 and labofskins.blogspot.com still have PR 3. I think the statics for my blog appears for it and that may be the reason. I had never made any links for that blog but still it has PR 3 and my blog which has several quality link has only PR 2 still now………

I am not sure how exactly PR is calculated but a generally the website needs to be updated regularly too which basically signals to the search engine that the website is being up to date with its information.

PR was always my concern but not now, though we got PR4 from 3 and the only thing I did from last few months was posting frequently with quality content, rest everything went by its own.

I think it updates it usually every 3-4 months.

such behavior will take users away from ur site. they wont visit again. i need a genuine reason for this.

My blog is 5 months old, when i checked its PR on 3rd this month it showed no update I was a little disappointed, but when I check it today morning I was surprised as my blog got PR 1, something is better than nothing. I am happy 🙂
