I cannot just claim a particular Model of a particular Brand to be the best one. You can definitely check out the link: http://www.laptopsindia.in/reviews/ I found through Google. However from my personal experience, you will get a lot of Laptops in that range of brands like HP, Toshiba, Dell and Lenovo. I would definitely suggest you to check out with your local retailer and ask them too.
Nowadays, DELL have been really good at service in India, you can check the DELL official website for India.

You can definitely go for this one! You should not be shocked by prices as this is just a result of emerging technology as well as increasing competition in India.
Apart from this, check out other mini laptops too like the Asus brand which is known for its high battery backup.
