Hi All,
Just wanted to know if I open new account in DreamHost using the promotional code "777" which is only for US region with a proxy, will I'll be able to use this account normally without proxy?
Using "777" code one can get $100 off on 1year hosting plan so was just making sure is it possible or will I wast my money on it after doing this as it's like fooling them.
Please let me know ASAP as this offer end today.
Thanks in advance.

You can sign up using proxy but this method is not advisable.
Dreamhost may trouble or even suspend your account in future.Participant@Rahul Bansal
What do you suggest? Did you come across something like this and noticed the account has been suspended or the user has trouble login in with the proxy after buying the account. So that next time when this type of promotion comes out I should not waste time to get or forget about it.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry for late reply.
I am not sure about answer but I will certainly not use proxy to avail discount when I am paying some bucks to avail a service.Participant@Rahul
what if I ask my friend who is in US to buy a domain for me and then he would give that account to me, would I be able to login from non-US region ?I think we can because if someone buys an account from US or anywhere and if he goes to some other region then wouldn't he able to use that account. Thats my assumption just wanted to confirm it from you. Please let me know.
Thanks in advance and Happy Friendship Day

I will personally go for this. Smart move!
But please do not take my word as "official".Actually I guess either way Dreamhost should not have any problem because you will be paying them full amount starting from 2nd year!

Thanks in advance.
RayanKeymasterFrom 2nd year you will be charged $120 approx.
They give free 1 domain registration as long as you are hosting with them.Participant$120 Oh my god !! Wow thats is lot man.
