I want to make a website for my friend, now the problem is that I don’t know which is the best, cheapest, domain and host provider. I would appreciate if any1 can help me in getting the best deal, so that I can get started with my work. And if possible can any1 let me know the quotation of these providers.

In contact information and in billing address I should give my details right? As I am going to make his site so I would be need the FTP account credentials and he will give me the money so I have to do all the things for him.
After completing his website, I just have to give him the address(www.compayname.com)only or do I have to give him the FTP site details also? Because as the Login information will be mine so how can I give him that details.
Or is it like that I will be having the login account of dreamhost different and FTP site account different?

Give whatever information Dreamhost people ask to you.
DON’T forget to mention promo code or u will miss discount.FTP and other accounts will be created later (by you).
If you are developing a site for some client, you do not need to give them FTP login details unless they ask for it.
