Home Surveillance Through Skype

Want to ensure safety of your home and office on the go. Don’t want to spend on money on expensive home surveillance systems?

Here is a free and simple way to set/make your own home surveillance system. All you need is Skype, WebCam and of course a PC or a Mac.

  • Sign In to your skype account from your home computer.
  • Set the Skype Client to Auto Accept All Incoming Calls and launch WebCam. (Tools –> Options –> Calls –> Calls Settings –> Advanced Options)

  • Leave your computer open and you are done… Just Call your account from any remote computer/mobile/cafe to start Surveillance.

So what do you think about this simple trick?

@Sunny
Make Separate Account for Surveillance, Add your Skype account in contact list of that account.
Set Allow Calls from People in my Contact List.
