The Link is back with his modified script for sending a common scrap to all your friends on orkut. Earlier 2 weeks before we had used similar script from Rodrigo Lacerda. If you have installed that earlier then please uninstall it before proceeding!The remarkable difference between these two scripts is Links script have send to group feature where you can select people in group while Rodrigos script does not need Time Interval! Also there were some problems reported with Rodrigos script by Ambily, Varun and others in last few days
Anyway the script is out and you can install it like any GreaseMonkey script! Again it is for firefox users only.
Click here to install this script (assuming you have already installed Greasemonkey extension and you are in Firefox)
Once it gets installed open up www.orkut.com/sa (see screenshot) and you will get a loading message for few seconds.
Then you will see a screen like follows. The following screenshot is confirmation that your script is installed properly ready to fire. Every option is self-explanatory. For further help, I am here ๐
This script have a companion script. Basically it adds ‘Scrap All’ option on all orkut pages so that you no need to type www.orkut.com/sa to load the script. (See following screenshot)

the first time the scrap all script worked fine ….
but when i actually needed it … it was just showing loading …please wait for half an hour and did not load the page ….

Well I guess its may be because of sending too much scrap or small time interval! You can try alternative script if you are not satisfied! ๐
does it take more time to load if thr r lik 900 frnds ??
Of course, the time to load is directly depend on no.of friends as well as connection speed!
N for 900 friends it should take too much time!

hey i just found out that orkut has this limit on the no of scraps u can send to ur frnds in a day too …. i knew that for frnds it is arnd 230 … but this scrap thing is new… ny idea how big it is ??
the profile lik the usual gets blocked for 12 hours … the fav … page not found …..

I dont know exact count but orkut is fighting seriously against mass scrapping or any script overloading orkut servers…

i clicked on the given link to install the script
but nothing happens. I’ve installed greasemonkey and after clicking on the link, the greasemonkey icon on the bottom right corner just changes to rotating dots but nothing happens for a long time.
Please tell me what to do?

The scripts are hosted on userscripts servers and unfortunately server is down from last evening! ๐
The only thing u can do is trying after sometime! If servers don’t turn up soon we will upload all scripts on our DW server! ๐

Are you confused with installation part or while using this script!
For installation help read GreaseMonkey Manual!
And about script by default it selects all your friend and also inserts their first name before scraps. You can change these things.
just put your scrap text in box (above start sending button) and hit the start sending button!
Don’t bother about time interval as default is OK most of the time!
Also there is alternative script to send a common scrap to all your friends! ๐
hey thr is this problem now ….
till now the script was working fine but now orkut has allowed html in some of my profiles …. and the scrapper does not work in those profiles ….
how big is the problem ??

well agam I haven’t checked this script against new feature but u can try other script as nobody reported problem (atleast til now) for that!
There’s some problem.. no scrap is been sent.. and the new screen shot which is given here is not shown.

First sorry for replying late as I don’t blog on weekends!
The error message u r getting comes when script is not installed properly!
Just make sure GreaseMonkey is properly installed!
Look for a monkey faced icon in bottom-right corner of firefox and right-click on it!
Then go to manage scripts option and check whether this script is there and active!
Let me know the result of this check! ๐

Sooraj PAGE NOT FOUND comes only when script is not installed properly!
the MEGACLICK.COM part is really strange!
Are you using some proxy!
If you have access to another PC – a friends PC or a PC at your college/cafe just check the whole stuff from there!
It may happen this MEGACLICK thing is may be some sort of program/extension/script on your machine!

I am having the same problem as agam. If you paste an html code, for example to send an image to all your friends, nothing gets sent. The script says it has sent the scrap, but when you check the profiles nothing has actually been sent
Just run a simple test…
Try scrapping html to yourself first!
If you get image verification then this script will fail as it can not bypass image verification! ๐
Let me know if your problem persists or I gave wrong solution…

– Or any other script for sending scrap to all
– OR confirm GreaseMonkey extension is installed and ENABLED! ๐

Hey the link will work for sending graphics too. Graphics i mean animated letters. I have installed the script and want to ask if it can be sent
Just run a simple test…
Try scrapping the graphical animated letters html to yourself first!
If you get image verification then this script will fail as it can not bypass image verification! ๐
Else you should be able to use this script for content you are talking about! ๐

I like this script more rather than the alternative scrtipt for sending a scrap to all your friends in one click because here i have the friend selection option,so is there any harm if i use it.

So our scripts can not do any harm to your account directly but use of some scripts may conflict with Orkut ToS…
