The BBC World News app has been produced together with online TV Company Livestation. This app also includes BBC’s mobile news site giving users one-click access to all the latest international news and sport..

Channel Quality

This depends on whether you are on a Wi-Fi network or on 3G.

When connected via 3G:

  • You can watch the channel in standard quality
  • Good video and audio quality at a low bit rate to minimize bandwidth requirements.

When connected to a Wi-Fi network:

  • You will automatically have access to a higher quality version of the channel
  • It will make full use of the high speed connectivity offered by Wi-Fi networks.
  • You can also change the default settings to view the standard quality version of the channel at all times.

The BBC’s mobile news site is also included in this app providing one-click access to all the latest news & sport.
