I prefer Name.com , no credit card required.Pay via paypal and that too non verified paypal accounts.I have presently 5 domains registered there http://www.pocketmoneyfinder.com,www.pocketmoneyfinder.co.in,www.desiboyz.in and lastly http://www.onetrickaday.com.I got .com domain for just 8.20$ and renewal for .com is – 7.99$ .. so dont worry

No domain transfer is not absolutely free. But you get 1 year extra registration for free; means you loose nothing.
Something like a sponsored post…. We can get domains names for just Rs.350.
