Long time back I published a simple hack using which you can run multiple Google Talk at once. Now thanks to Ankit, we have a way to run multiple Yahoo messenger at once.
Check following screenshot where me and my friend Sameer signed into our (different) yahoo accounts at the same time!
# How-To Go Multiuser…
- Download yahoo_multiuser.reg file. (Tip: Right Click on link, select “save as”…)
- Double Click on above file once it is downloaded.
- Window may show warning. Click Yes to proceed.
- Thats it! Now every click on Yahoo messengers shortcut will start new instance of IM!
# How-To Restore singleuser…
I don’t find any harm leaving it multiuser. Still in case you want to restore changes made by above registry file…
- Download yahoo_singleuser.reg file. (Tip: Right Click on link, select “save as”…)
- Double Click on above file once it is downloaded.
- Window may show warning. Click Yes to proceed.
- Thats it! Everything is restored again!
Now this is for all Windows user using Yahoo Messenger. Others can log into multiple yahoo, GoogleTalk, hotmail or any number of account at once using a multiprotocol messenger like pidgin!

hi rahul i’m using nokia6300 with airtel sim yar….its being a s40 mobile i cant use teashark or ucweb in my mobile at free of cost…so many times i’ve got airtel live settings from the provider and saved it as a default setting but no use….in my preffered access setting its still shows mobile office only…would u plz findout a solution for this dude….if u’ve any other software that’l be useful for my mobile means u can surely tell that too dude… thank you 🙂 🙂 🙂

If you are wondering how to run multiple Yahoo! Messenger accounts within the same PC, here’s how it can be done by just applying a simple registry hack.
1. Go to Start > Run.
2. In the Run box, type regedit and click OK button to launch the Registry Editor.
3. Now, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Yahoo > Pager > Test.
4. On the right pane, right click , choose New > DWORD value.

5. Rename the new registry key as Plural.

6. Double click on the “Plural” registry key and assigns 1 as the value data.

Now, you can login to multiple Yahoo! Messenger accounts on your PC. If you want to login to two YM accounts, you will need to launch the application twice in order to get two login screens.

To disable or cancel this hack, just proceed and delete the “Plural” registry key.
