last month, Airtel & Vodafone bagged the deal with Apple to launch iPhone in India. One step ahead Vodafone started pre-registration for iPhone, to grab large chunk of iPhone lovers & Apple loyalist in India.

Considering iPhone starting price of $199, it is expected to launch around Rs.15000/- in India. As per guys at Imagine store , Apples premium reseller in Pune, iPhone will launch with price around Rs.20000/-. Nevertheless, iPhone will capture considerable market in India, specially in high-end mobile segment.

- OR visit Vodafone website (Charges: free)
In India, iPhone will be coming in 3G version only although there are almost no 3G network available in India. Considering iPhone 3G’s craze, network support for 3G can be major factor in Vodafone-Airtel battle.
