According to a famous news channel a 1-year-old child drowned to death, while his mom was busy playing a game on Facebook. Omg that’s a terrible news.

Shannon Johnson, 34, accepted in front of police that she was playing Cafe World on Facebook, checking status messages and uploading videos while her son was having a bath in bath tub.

She said when she came back and checked on the baby, he was dead with face inside the water in the bath tub. This is really a very hard to believe news. People have become so busy with Facebook that things are happening like this. 🙁

Have people become so busy with Facebook that they don’t care about their real lives? Do you think Facebook is worth it? Worth so much , worth a life ? Share your views through comments.

First, I want to say that this child needlessly died because he was being monitored by his mother. I think she could have given her child a bath and then did whatever she wanted later. There shouldn’t be fingers pointing at anyone else than her. I know it sounds harsh but this just could have been avoided easily. 🙁

Children younger than four should never be left alone until they can fully take a bath by themselves. Parents may still need to check on there children even after that age regardless. Even infants can drown in a inch of water.

Facebook to me is just something I use to waste time. I don’t have to be on it every single day for long periods of time, because I have more important things like college, work, chores to do around the house.

This is pathetic.. People are too much addicted to FB games, infact I have seen my friends being addicted to games like Farmville and Cityville. Even I started playing Cityville and it was definitely addictive. So I decided and finally stopped playing it.

Take care people, don’t let Facebook decide your life!

Even I think so. Playing games when you are free and playing games when you should be doing something else are two different things!
